I recently presented my initial findings on the WCMM project for the Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management (CoEB) at the University of Rwanda. Below is the recording of the rich discussion. Although my findings are about the social impacts of mining, many attendees were botanists, hydrologists, primatologists, and other quantitative scientists. I was dually impressed with their interest in feminist political ecology (FPE) and the socio-economic dynamics that undergird their work.
