I'm an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Politics and Global Studies at Arizona State University, and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Rwanda's Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management (CoEB). I teach topics on governance and gender in the Global South. My research focuses on the gender dynamics of environmental conflict in Africa. I hold an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Law and Society from New York University and an MA in Human Rights from Columbia University.
