I'm an Assistant Professor in the Global Challenges Program at African Leadership University and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Rwanda's Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resource Management (CoEB). I teach political economy and my research focuses on the gender dynamics of environmental conflict in Africa. My interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Law and Society at New York University examined gender in Nigeria's oil conflict.
